On Sunday afternoon March 24, 2019, Gene Calvin Morgan Jr was called to rest. Gene was a loving kind soul who was meek with a contagious smile. He may not have always been around but when he’s in the room you’re for sure can guaranteed love and some jokes
Gene Calvin Morgan Jr. was born in Trenton NJ, on July 31, 1989 to Valarie M. Briscoe and the late Gene C. Morgan Sr. Gene received his education in Camden County School district, by graduating with a certification as a Brick Mason. He primarily worked in construction along with other career endeavors. Gene love to explore, traveling the world at his own will gaining his own experience to help him journey through. During this time Gene suffered from various medical issues but continuing to push through and trusting in God. Gene accepted Christ as his savor at a very early age and continued his praise through one of his favorite song “The Hand Writing On The Wall.”
He is preceded in death by his father Gene Calvin Morgan, Sr., his grandparents Willie Briscoe and Evangelist Carrie Solomon- Briscoe, uncles and aunt Charles Solomon, Sherri Morgan, and Tony Williams. Gene leaves behind to cherish his memories his mother Valarie Briscoe, his siblings; (sisters) Rakia Morgan and Demetra Byrd, (brothers) Daval Adkins and Demtres Byrd and niece Jayda. His Grandparents, (grandma) Helen Williams (husband) David Williams and (grandpa) George Morgan. His aunts, Shirley Solomon, Patricia Filer-Hill, Karolyn White, Jennie Morgan, Tammy Mason, and Penny Williams. His uncles, Ernest Solomon, Johnny Solomon, Rev. Norman Solomon, Ronnie Briscoe, Kimani-Ayombi Morgan, Rev. Jerry Morgan, Russell Morgan, Mark Morgan, Jermaine Williams, Jamie Williams. And a host of cousins and friends. He will forever be missed and in our hearts always, Mr. Chocolate.
